Attendance

Is your student going to be absent for the day?  

Parents must submit the Online Absence Report Form located on the McRoberts homepage titled Absence reporting, or you may call 281-237-2005 to report the absence.  

• Upon the students' return, please make sure to send a parent/doctor's note so that the reason can be documented.  

Tardiness Policy  

School doors open: 7:30 am 

Tardy Bell rings: 7:50 am  

• A student is considered tardy if they are not in their designated place by 7:50  

If your student is tardy, please escort them into the building and sign them in.

Check-out Policy  

 Any adult checking out a student must be either listed as a guardian or an emergency contact.  

Before 9:15am check-outs for personal reasons before 9:15 will result in a full day’s absence.  

After 9:15am, check-outs after 9:15 will be recorded as a partial day’s absence.  

• If you are taking your child to a doctor's appointment, please remember to ask for a doctor's note so that their time away from school is excused.  

No early check-outs after 2:20: Students cannot be checked out after 2:20 due to dismissal preparations  

Change of Transportation Guidelines  

Submit the change by 1:30 pm on the day you need a different mode of transportation to pmeoffice@katyisd.org
